Jodi Pritchard NREMT-P, CFRN, ASN, BSN, NP-C is originally from West Virginia where she attended Shephard University for her undergraduate degrees in paramedicine and nursing. She obtained her master’s degree in nursing (family nurse practitioner) at Simmons University Boston Massachusetts. During this time, she maintained the role as a flight paramedic/nurse on a medi-vac helicopter performing critical care in the air, transporting patients in their emergent time of need.

Jodi has twenty-five years of experience in emergency medicine, with specialized training in rotor wing transport. She currently is a national educator for the air medical transport company Med-Trans where she oversees all providers clinical performance in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and thirty-five members of the National Float Team.

In February 1998 Jodi enlisted in the U.S. Air Force (West Virginia Air National Guard) and obtained her commission with the current rank of Lieutenant Colonel where she currently is a part of the Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT). This team consists of a three-person, highly specialized medical team that can create and operate a portable intensive care unit on board any transport aircraft during flight. She continues this role with multiple overseas deployments and has authored articles in emergency medicine transport journals with multiple presentations globally for the national Air Medical Transport Conference (AMTC).

With time comes change and change brings transition. With Jodi’s extensive background in emergency medicine, she has decided to move toward a path where preventive medicine is the focus. She wants to step beyond critical care to find the root cause of potential medical conditions. Her goal is to dive deeper into the human body and learn how to heal it through integrative medicine.
